Wix Business Numbers
OVERVIEW
Business phone numbers was a product within Wix enabling users to have their own dedicated business phone number while keeping their personal number private.
The product was available in the US, Canada, and the UK. It had around 15k paying users.
ROLE
I was part of every steps of this project. From ideation to launch. The project was kicked off in May 2019, launched in June 2020. I wore many hats along the course of this project. I worked on product, business and UX.
GOAL
Create the best virtual phone numbers service for SMBs, which is seamlessly integrated to Wix CRM
Research
The research for this product was comprehensive and included: competitors research, business research, UX and visual research.
COMPETITORS RESEARCH
Multiple competitors were analyzed. We looked at their pricing, the features they offer, but also their flows and how usable they are.
BUSINESS RESEARCH
We analyzed and met with different phone numbers and network providers such as Twilio, Bandwidth, Nexmo, Plivo, etc. After consideration, we decided to move forward with Twilio.

Sketches & Wireframes
The first step of this project was to pitch our idea to management. We needed to show that there was a need and to present a viable concept. We started this project with a one-week intensive workshop where I sketched out the happy flow and did high-level wireframes.

Once management decided to move forward, we started to work on the first version. The product included many different flows, both on desktop and mobile. It included a purchase flow, settings flow, and calls flow.
